About the Global Dialog Project Our initial public work focused on upholding the Bill of Rights in the aftermath of 911, because truthful and open dialogue is not possible without Constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms. As a result of our efforts, Santa Fe was 14th of 358 communities to pass a ‘Resolution Upholding the Bill of Rights’. We’ve received awards for this work from the Northern New Mexico ACLU in 2002, and from the Santa Fe Green Party in 2003 for our statewide efforts. Hundreds of people have participated in our Talking Circle dialogs, and more than 2000 people subscribe to our email lists and discussion forums. Our ‘anchoring neutral ground’ approach allows multipartisan discussion of even divisive topics. The Global Dialog website, http://www.global-dialog.org , contains almost 500 pages of integrated and contextualized information on practical politics, basic principles, human systems, humor and other thinking tools for addressing information overwhelm in our ever more confusing world.
